The Kind of Love
(Feb 11, 2012 00:00)

The Kind of Love

This Love is a kind of Love that carries a double edge sword and pierces the heart of stone
It is a kind of Love that suffers with you when you stand in the eye of the storm
It is the kind of Love that makes you dance in the rain even if the flood comes
It is the kind of Love that stretches forth its hands and saves you at the edge of the cliff
It is the kind of Love that knows no failure in your life even if you run away from it
It is the kind of Love that does not accept half accomplishments but says, “It is finished”
It is the kind of Love that knows no evil for it wants to make us into everything we are to be
It is the kind of Love that can transform a wretched, broken human into a Co-heir of a Kingdom
It is the kind of Love that prayer calls upon and Love responds with Love
It is the kind of Love that captivates the heart not with enticing words but a Sacrifice at the Cross
It is a kind of Love that looks after the poor and the widows in distress
It is the kind of Love that defines our identity when we allow it to live in us
That kind of Love has a name
The Love’s name is Jesus
He is the Savior of the world
He is the unfailing Love
He is the one who defines our identity
He is the One who suffered like us and stands with us in the eye of the storm
He gives us a joy to dance in the storm
He carries a double edge sword to pierce the hearts filled with impossibility
He stretches forth His hand to help us and the words that proceed from His mouth do not return void
He felt the pain of God’s wrath at the cross but proclaimed, “It is finished”
He loves us so He molds us to be everything that He wants us to be
He transforms our lives and we become Co-heirs with Him
He listens to our prayers and begins moving mountains of impossibility
He speaks and life begins to exist
He associates Himself with the poor, the foolish and the nothing’s whom He uses to confound the wise
He is Jesus.
